Wellesley Theatre Project to celebrate new digs with Hamilton sing-along

Wellesley Theatre ProjectWellesley Theatre Project will celebrate its move from Wellesley Square to expanded and renovated studios at the Wellesley Community Center by hosting an open house and Hamiltunes singalong party on Saturday, Oct. 14 from 3-6pm. The Hamiltunes singalong to instrumental tracks from the Hamilton musical will start at 4pm that day.

WTP will have three newly renovated studios at its 219 Washington St. location at the Community Center, which will host performing arts classes, small productions and summer camps.

The outfit’s next large cast production — Madagascar: A Musical Adventure, Jr. —  will be performed at Babson College’s Sorenson Center on Nov. 17-19.

Wellesley Theatre Project is an arts academy and nonprofit devoted to providing students (PreK – 12th Grade) with the opportunity to study and experience theatre and performing arts through year round classes, staged productions, workshops and summer camps.

Registration is open for WTP’s Fall classes and third annual production of A Christmas Carol.
