Registration is going strong for the regularly sold-out Wellesley Turkey Trot, which takes starts and ends in Linden Square on Thanksgiving morning this Nov. 23. But what to do with all the funds raised by the 5K race?
The Wellesley Turkey Trot Foundation, Inc., a grass-roots non-profit organization dedicated to engaging the community in physical fitness and
supporting local charities in the areas of cancer and medical research, education, and community service, is looking for possible beneficiaries. Interested nonprofits should file an application by Sunday, Oct. 15. Send email to [email protected] for more info. All race entry proceeds go to charities, and more than $220K has been dispersed over the past 3 years.
