Sprague Elementary School kids, parents and officials have raised nearly $6K for disaster relief in the wake of the recent hurricanes that have devastated Florida, Texas and the Caribbean islands, and the earthquake that rocked Mexico.
Students were sponsored financially by families and others to dance in support of those affected by the natural disasters. Students learned dances in music class to honor citizens from affected areas.
Funds will go to Hispanic Foundation UNIDOS Disaster Relief to support victims in Puerto Rico and Mexico, and Americares
to support victims of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. Check out the Sprague crowdfunding page here.
