
A pair of Wellesley Middle School 7th graders will travel to Quebec in February as members of the Greater Boston Juniors Bruins Pee Wee All-Stars hockey team.
Fellow left wingers Robbie Marshall and Sean Maxwell, who both played for the Wellesley Youth Hockey program, are among 16 Pee Wee players from the Greater Boston League slated to compete at the Quebec International Pee Wee Youth Hockey Tournament and BSR Tournament.
The Junior Bruins will play against teams from the United States, Canada and Europe during the 10-day tournament. The games will be televised throughout Canada.
The purpose of the tournament is to provide the players with competitive hockey and a cultural exchange experience. The players will be staying with French-Canadian families during their visit.
The team needs to raise $45,000 for the trip. Marshall and Maxwell will be soliciting contributions from local merchants and residents. If you would like to make a donation, please mail one to:
