The Wellesley Free Library has rolled out Kanopy, a movie streaming service now available to Wellesley residents with their library card. Card holders can stream thousands of documentaries, indie films, classic films, and other original content to their computer, mobile device, or Roku.

Enjoy 6 movies per calendar month. Movies are available on demand with no waiting and no overdue fees! Once you check out a film, you have 3 days to view it – in full – as many times as you like.

Here’s how to do it:

Simply visit Kanopy here to create an account.

Click on “Sign Up” in the top right-hand corner.
Enter your name, email address, and create a password.
Kanopy will send you a verification email. Verify your email address by clicking on the link in the email.
After verification, the link will take you back to the Kanopy website where you can search for the “Wellesley Free Library” and type in your library card number.

You’re now ready to enjoy thousands of movies at your fingertips!
