Wellesley business buzz: Daddy’s Home 2 cameo; new estate/elder law firm in town

Here’s a roundup of some of the latest business news in Wellesley…

E.A. Davis gets its Daddy’s Home 2 cameo

We haven’t seen the new movie Daddy’s Home 2 yet, but if you do plan to catch it be sure to watch for the inside of Wellesley’s E.A. Davis store, where shooting took place this past spring. E.A. Davis’s Rob Skolnick says “Fairly small scene, but some really nice shots of the interior.  A really fun experience for sure.”

What he seems even more excited about now is the uptick in activity in new businesses in Church Square, with the Smith & Wollensky steakhouse and Fastachi nut shop opening soon.
