Giant Snowman Workshop, main library
During December Vacation Week (December 26 – December 29), drop into the Craft Room for our annual Snowman Workshop!
Join us from 1:30-4:30 on any day to construct Super-Sized Snowmen (up to 4′ tall). Everything you’ll need to create your paper snowman will be available. Help us fill the Children’s Room with GIANT SNOWMEN! If you would like, we’ll display your snowman in the Children’s Room until you take them home in February. Otherwise, you can take them to decorate your home! This craft program is good for families with children of all ages.

Join an adventurous princess as she journeys to Mystery Mountain to visit the Great Green Dragon. Along the way you’ll meet Zelda the babysitter, a silly bat, Sir George and his clumsy dog, and of course the lovable dragon. Will Sir George slay the dragon? Not to worry, everything ends happily in this fun show. Pumpernickel Puppet shows are presented with a cast of colorful puppet characters, audience participation, live voices and sound effects and fast paced scripts that not only entertain, but stimulate children’s imagination and creativity. A demonstration period follows every performance giving the audience some insight into what happens behind the scenes. For ages 3 and up, accompanied by an adult.
