Wellesley Cyclebar staff and patrons this weekend made a spirited showing at the Pan-Mass Challenge’s first indoor ride at Fenway Park to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The sold-out 10am ride was led by Bill Pryor and Alex Klemmer, local owners of CycleBar.
Klemmer this week has her last chemo treatment for breast cancer, and she says that she is the “1 in 8” — no family history, no breast cancer gene. Nearly a hundred local residents and riders, including some cancer survivors, rode in her honor. “It was an amazing morning of energy, positivity, and community,” writes Laura Olton.
