Wellesley resident Michael Ryan, who works as a development officer in the annual giving department at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, will join Dana-Farber doctors, researchers and others in playing a charity hockey game against Boston Bruins alumni. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jimmy Fund.
The Dana-Farber Rink Rats’ game will be held on Saturday, February 3, from 2-4pm at Warriors Ice Arena in Boston.
Ryan, who is skating in honor of his father, who he lost to lung cancer in 2013. has committed to raise $1,200 in order to play in the game.
