The Town of Wellesley has released its annual assessment list, so now you can go take a peek at how much your
neighbor’s home is officially worth, for tax purposes anyway.
As you can see on the newspaper supplement cover above, the top assessed values in town for single-family homes are in likely places. The assessment data breaks out the value of buildings and land. You can learn more about what all this means at the Assessors’ Office page on the Wellesley website.
It’s also interesting to look at the commercial properties list, with eye-poppers such as the $82M Wellesley Gateway Office Complex on Rte. 9 and a big stretch of Linden Square on the Linden Store side pegged at $89M.
