History of the Back Bay lecture at Wellesley Free Library on Thursday night

Local author and historian Anthony Sammarco will discuss the history of Boston’s Back Bay from its origins as tidal wetlands to its transformation into the most elegant and desirable neighborhood in Boston in the late 19th Century.

The talk is presented by Wellesley Historical Society and Wellesley Free Library, which hosts the event at 7pm on Thursday, March 8.  Free and open to the public, with refreshments available.
