From the Wellesley Cancer Prevention Projet:
On Thursday, March 29, (7-8:40 PM) at the Wellesley Free Library (530 Washington Street, Wellesley), the Wellesley Cancer Prevention Project and the Library are jointly sponsoring a screening of “The C Word” – a documentary film narrated by Morgan Freeman, and directed by Meghan O’Hara (who’s made several films with Michael Moore, including Fahrenheit 9/11, Bowling for Columbine, and SICKO). With a dose of good humor, heart, and a touch of rock-n’-roll beat, The C Word reveals the forces at play keeping us sick and dares to ask: if up to 70% of cancer deaths are preventable … what are we waiting for? Click here for a video preview of the film. A discussion will follow the screening. Please join us to find out how you & your family can lead a healthier life.
This is an inspiring movie! Hope to see many of my fellow Wellesley neighbors at the screening on Thurs, Mar. 29!
