A drive has begun in Wellesley for a charitable organization called Dignity Matters that supplies feminine hygiene products and underwear to women and school-age girls living in homeless or low-income situations. The group’s goal is to help these women and girls stay healthy, attend school, regain self-confidence, and live with basic dignity, according to Wellesley’s Andrea Schneider, a volunteer for the organization who is collecting items at her home until May 6.
If you would like to donate pads, tampons, new underpants and/or new/gently used bras, please drop them off at 16 Fells Rd, Wellesley. There will be a blue Dignity Matters bin on the side porch.
