Wellesley commuter rail riders to get more of a clue
Keolis, the MBTA’s operating partner for the commuter rail, has announced an updated MBTA Commuter Rail App that includes a new interface, push notification train alerts, average seat availability, track assignments, average on-time performance data and real-time train tracking. As a regular rider myself, I can vouch for the T’s relatively on-time performance of late, though trains have often been SRO at peak times.
Passengers can set a reminder to alert them 5, 10, 15 or 30 minutes before a train’s arrival or departure.
The app also allows passengers to submit feedback to the customer service team, and it includes Lost & Found forms.
Keolis’s updated MBTA Commuter Rail App is available at the Apple App Store and Google Play. It is available in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese (Brazil) and Chinese.
Realtor taking over storefront?
Word on the street is that a realtor could be taking over the space on Forest Street in between Wellesley Variety and Deluxe Pizza that was vacated last year by Chyten tutoring when it moved to another Wellesley location. That’s all we’ve got for you on this at the moment.
