Wellesley doctor honored as Hero Among Us at Celtics game

The ailing Boston Celtics can use all the doctors they can get these days as they head toward to the playoffs.

On Sunday, the Celtics honored Dr. EJ Caterson of Wellesley and Dr. Eric Goralnick, both affiliated with Brigham & Women’s Hospital and its Gillian Reny Stepping Strong Center for Trauma Innovation. They were honored during the game as Heroes Among Us for their work in training some 1,500 people to deal with traumatic situations and apply tourniquets. The doctors began their work in the wake of the Boston Marathon bombing.
