Wellesley’s Wonderful Weekend is an annual town celebration that includes activities for all ages. Highlights include the Veterans’ Parade, music and fireworks.
New to the parade this year: Wellesley Repertory Theatre will march in this year’s parade, showing their thanks and admiration for those who served. In addition, May 31 – June 24, WRT will perform A Piece of My Heart, a powerful, true drama about the personal impact of the war on six women. On Monday, June 4th, WRT will host a special performance of this show to honor all of those who have served, with free tickets for veterans.
