Babson College has announced that President Kerry Healey is stepping down in June 2019, paving the way for a new leader to take over during the middle of the Wellesley school’s centennial celebration year.
Babson’s first female president will wrap up her second 3-year term next year.
The former Massachusetts Lt. Governor is credited by Babson for leading the school’s efforts to reduce undergraduate tuition through an accelerated degree program, getting Babson onto the edX online learning program and more.
The search for Healey’s successor starts this summer.
Babson offered no clues about what might be next for Healey.
