The 26th annual letter carriers Stamp Out Hunger food drive will take place on May 12, when letter carriers from the USPS will go on their routes across Wellesley delivering mail and picking up donations for the Wellesley Food Pantry. This intake is The Wellesley Food Pantry’s second-largest gathering of each year and is crucial to stocking our shelves before the start of summer, when donations tends to abate.
Please support Wellesley Food Pantry by placing donations out by 9:00 a.m. for collection.
We are in need of all types of non-perishable foods, but in particular would like:
Canned beef stew, ravioli, meat, and fish
Canned fruits and vegetables
Plain brown or white rice
Peanut butter and jelly
Mayonnaise, vegetable oil, condiments
Canned tomatoes and pasta sauce
Laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper
Please: no perishable or expired foods.
