The Wellesley Natural Resources Commission, Board of Health, and Sustainable Wellesley are co-sponsoring a screening of “A Chemical Reaction: The Story of a True Green Revolution.” The film tells the story of a courageous doctor who galvanizes her community when she discovers the toxic health effects of lawn chemicals on people in her community. Please join us for popcorn and desserts. This event is in honor of pioneering environmentalist Rachel Carson. The NRC has asked the Board of Selectmen to proclaim May 27, 2018, as Rachel Carson Day in Wellesley.
