On Mondays from October through May Wellesley Friendly Aid hosts Friendship Circle, a program for senior women of all income levels. The last meeting before the group breaks for the summer was hosted by the provisional class of Wellesley Service League and Wellesley Friendly Aid at the home of Lynne Smith, also known as the Red Sox lady. Lynne graciously shared a lot of her custom-made Red Sox memorabilia and stories with the ladies. She wears a necklace with a picture of each of the starters for every game.
Durning the year, Friendship Circle participants enjoy a wide variety of activities including speakers, holiday parties, musical performances, and excursions in addition to lunch. Wellesley Service League provides transportation and lunch to participants.

I’m lucky and love being a member of Friendship Circle.
