If you want to read ghost stories set in Wellesley, check out Liz Sower’s blog, Ghost in the Burbs. Here’s a excerpt from her latest story: “…I was hearing disembodied voices. Not all the time, mind you, but enough to keep it interesting…An older man standing behind me said, “I used to love those damn scones,” while I waited in line at Quebrada. Only there was no old man standing behind me. I heard a little girl sneeze while I was scanning the mystery section at the library. Again, no little girl. That one was creepy.”
Her stories are set in Wellesley and seem very realistic, except for the glaring omission of a certain online news source devoted to telling you “More that you really want to know about Wellesley, Massachusetts.”
