The fourth annual Great Wellesley Train Show will take place on Saturday, November 3, 10am-3pm, at the Wellesley Community Center (219 Washington St.), and promises to whisk you away to a host of railroad landscapes through model train setups and dioramas.
Look for the National Model Railroad Association Hub Division’s new model layouts and the Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiast (RRE) crew’s new travel itineraries for the season on exciting vintage trains running to historic destinations.
Also on hand will be the ever-popular Peter Carbone, also known as The Orange Man, famous on the train circuit for providing fun for the whole family. There will be rolling stock, kits, track and other layout accessories for sale.
The Great Wellesley Train Show IV this year will honor Ralph Hawkings of Mass Bay RRE, a former officer of Mass Bay RRE, who was fatally injured in a car accident in Canton last year. Ralph was an asset to his community, his club and The Wellesley Community Center.
