Wellesley’s Boy Scout, Girl Scout, Brownie and Daisy Troops, Cub Scout Packs and Venture Crew this weekend will be leaving door hangers at homes across Wellesley to place requests for the Wellesley Food Pantry (WFP) for those in need. Scouts will then return on Saturday, November 3 around 9am to collect all donations.
Last year, almost 7,400 Wellesley residents donated items, resulting in scouts collecting 10 tons of food that was sorted and boxed by more than 230 volunteers that same day. The WFP is looking for volunteers to help with sorting and boxing these goods. Sign up now as slots are limited and will go quickly.
