Pumpkins have mixed emotions about Halloween. It gives them a chance to shine like no other vegetable whether they are smirking on front porches across Wellesley, holding a flash mob like the one in front of Wellesley Hills Congregational Church, or hanging with their sports-minded pals on the front line of a home on Amherst Road, as seen here.
What no one likes to talk about, though, is the aftermath of these high times. But in visiting the Wellesley Recycling & Disposal Facility this weekend, I found it hard to avert my eyes from this pumpkin graveyard.
