Here’s a round-up of the latest Wellesley, Mass., business news:
Fini for French Lessons Boutique in Wellesley
French Lessons, the women’s clothing store whose name gives me flashbacks to difficile middle school courses, has closed its Linden Square location. The store had been selling its stylish fashions in town for the past 12 years.
According to the French Lessons Instagram account, the sexiest women in the world walk through its doors, so don’t be surprised if you now see some of them lurking about other places in town.
French Lessons still has other shops in Concord, Hamilton and Winchester.
Brow threading shop moving next door
Sticking slightly with the French theme, Nabina’s Salon and Spa, located at the former Your French Gift shop space at 269 Washington St. in Wellesley Hills, has a sign in its window that says it is moving next door. Its neighbor is currently a bead/jewelry store.
Toys for Tots Drop-Off
Wellesley Toyota will serve as an official drop-off location for Toys For Tots donations this holiday season. The program collects new, unwrapped toys and distributes them as holiday gifts to children throughout the community. The program is coordinated by the U. S. Marine Corps.
Toys for children ages 0-3 and over seven years of age are particularly needed this holiday season. Wellesley Toyota is located at 234 Worcester Street (Route 9) and welcomes toy donations during any hour that the dealership is open.
