Wellesley Business Buzz: Patti Bros’ Wellesley Square shop closes & a Festive pop-up is ready to move in

Patti Bros, the Sudbury-based exterior/interior lighting and furniture business that opened a space in Wellesley Square 5 years ago, closed down the Wellesley location on Halloween.

“We have had an awesome five years in Wellesley,” writes Co-owner Lisa Gilberto-Cunningham. “We had great success and made many friends in Wellesley. We decided for personal quality of life reasons to move our operations back to one store, our original flagship store in Sudbury. The pace of owning and operating two locations, while exhilarating, doesn’t fit the life plan at this point in time.”

Patti Bros opened the 15 Central St., shop at a time when it saw an increase in customers from Wellesley, Gilberto-Cunningham said at the time.

Sliding right into the Wellesley space will be the Festive pop-up shop from Holiday Boutique, which has made its presence felt in town in years past.
