On January 16, the Wellesley Historical Society invites children ages 5-10 to explore “A Rainbow of Colors: The Denton Butterflies” as part of its Winter Wednesdays program. Kids can check out samples of original butterflies collected by the Denton family in the late 19th century and preserved in butterfly boxes. Crafts will include painted butterfly notecards and wooden butterfly recreations.
The Wellesley Historical Society and the Wellesley Free Library are offering Winter Wednesdays through Jan. 30. The program takes place in the children’s room of the Wellesley Main Library from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Drop in anytime; there is no need to register and no admission fee.
