The Wellesley Planning Board has named Victor Panak as interim director while it searches for a permanent director to replace Michael Zehner, who has announced plans to take a job in North Carolina.
The Board expects to issue a job posting soon.
Panak is currently a senior planner for the town and has worked in Wellesley since August 2016. Before that, he worked for Lexington’s Planning Department.
