The Raiders entered the second period down 1-0, but scored twice in that period. Senior Devin Chapman got WHS on the board, then freshman Danielle Cimino put Wellesley up 2-1. Notre Dame tied the game at 2-2 later in the second.

Wellesley tested Notre Dame’s defense throughout the game, outshooting the Cougars 47-14.

Last year, Wellesley beat Canton 1-0 for the title. Wellesley has made the finals 5 times in the past 6 years.
