Of note: Wellesley High School will administer the MCAS English Language Arts (ELA) and Math exams using a computer-based format. While this is new for the high school, WHS’s current sophomores have taken the computer-based format in 8th grade.
To prepare students for taking the test in its computer-based format, sophomores in early March participated in a mandatory MCAS Infrastructure Trial during school time. The purpose of the trial was to ensure the school’s network and testing technology was ready for the actual test.
Here are the 2018 MCAS results for Wellesley, which reflect that most students who take the test, which they must pass in order to graduate, fall into the meets or exceeds expectations categories.
