Save the date: Wellesley Rotary Club “Taste of Wellesley” fundraiser is May 2

Taste of WellesleyThe Rotary Club of Wellesley invites you to join them, and Honorary Chairperson and Wellesley Chief of Police Jack Pilecki, at a unique culinary fundraiser. Taste of Wellesley will be held on Thursday, May 2, 6:30pm – 9pm at the Gardens at Elm Bank, at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society located at 900 Washington Street, Wellesley, MA, 02482. The fundraiser will feature: food tastings from 10-15 top restaurants in Wellesley. Tickets and more information here.

The Taste of Wellesley is pleased to welcome the Wellesley Society of Artists again this year.  Donated artworks by member artists will be displayed and available through a silent auction.  The WSA is an 86 year old nonprofit organization that seeks to support fine arts in our community.  The WSA welcomes all who are artists and those interested in art.  Please visit their website at: www.wellesleysocietyofartists.org  to learn more about them.

Taste of Wellesley, The Rotary Club of Wellesley Spring Culinary Fundraiser will be an exquisite evening of food, craft beer and boutique liquor tasting, cash bar, Live Auction, Giving Tree Raffle and silent auction showcasing unique art pieces from the Wellesley Society of Artists.  Roche Bros. Supermarkets will offer a signature raw bar; Smith & Wollensky, new to the local food scene will participate and additional tents will round out this festive night!  Proceeds will benefit a variety of good causes (ex. Interact Peer Leadership and Depression Prevention acts on the fact that 1 in 5 cases of depression are wholly preventable).

  • Interact pool games at Tolles Parsons Center to foster communication
  • Tutoring  & emotional literacy
  • Saplings for all grade 4 students
  • 4-Way Test writing competition w/ middle school
  • Peer Leadership & Depression Prevention-India
  • Peer Leadership & Depression Prevention-Nigeria
  • Project Soar (world record paper airplane) to foster cognitive flexibility
  • Two century rivalry with Needham: Football Banquet

The Rotary Club of Wellesley is one of Wellesley’s oldest community service groups and conducts local programs to benefit the Town of Wellesley.
