
The historical societies in Wellesley, Natick, Needham and Newton have received a grant from a bank foundation for a series of “Crossing Borders” programs focused on information relevant to all of the communities.
The following programs are planned:
*A walking tour of Lower Falls, literally crossing the border between Newton and Wellesley on
Sunday, April 28 at 1 p.m. Suggested donation, $10 per person. Register through

*The Suburban Development of Needham, Newton, Natick, and Wellesley. A free lecture with
James O’Connell on Wednesday, May 22 at 7 p.m. at the Needham History Center & Museum,

*Women of Natick and Ponkapoag: The Untold History of Praying Towns. A conversation
with Kristen Wyman of the Natick Nipmuc Tribe and Elizabeth Solomon of the Massachusett
