Do you know if high school students can serve on any of these committees? Or do you have to be a registered voter over age 18?

Hi Abby, trying to get an answer for you on this, but if anyone else knows, please chime in…thanks, TSR

From the town: “While Town Bylaws don’t specifically reference whether or not high school students can serve, the Town is looking for applicants who have expertise in the areas focused on by the Boards/Committees. And, as you know, Boards and Committees meet often and members are required to do a lot of background. That’s a lot to ask of a student who’s also juggling high school responsibilities!
In the past we have had a few students serve on ad hoc committees or as youth advisors. And we always welcome that input.”
