7th Annual Senior Art Show is on display at the Wellesley Free Library for the month of June. The work of more than fifty local artists working in multiple mediums will be on display through June 28 in Wakelin Room and the lobby of the main library. The exhibition is a collaboration with the Council on Aging, Waterstone of Wellesley and the Wellesley Free Library. There will be a reception on June 12, 7pm – 8:30pm at the library, where some artists will discuss their artwork and share techniques and inspiration. Art by students at Saint John School will be displayed in the Children’s Room and the glass cases at the entry to the Children’s Room during the month of June.

The work of Michelle Jong, nationally recognized for her large-scale works of contemporary realism featuring atmospheric seascapes and coastal settings, will be on display through June 8 at Page Waterman, Gallery & Framing in Wellesley Square at 592A Washington St. A special painting demonstration by Jung on Saturday, June 8, 3pm to 6 pm brings the event to a conclusion.
