Vintage Vogue, Wellesley
Don’t miss the Vintage Vogue Runway for Research event, Sept. 15 at Wellesley College’s Alumnae Hall.

Vintage Vogue is a one-of-a kind fabulous fund raising fashion show featuring vintage and timeless style through the decades and choreographed to music that will rock your soul. This incredible evening is produced by the Carol’s Corner Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of people with metastatic breast cancer. Vintage Vogue in the past two years has already raised $125,000 for the Metastatic Breast Cancer Research Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Kelley Tuthill will emcee the evening, and a special panel discussion will be led by Lisa Mullins of WBUR.

The evening begins with a Mix & Mingle cocktail hour at 5pm with delicious delicacies from local chefs. Guests are encouraged to attend in their own vintage finery and meet our fabulous Vintage Vogue Models, many of whom are metastatic breast cancer patients or caregivers from Dana-Farber. We also count a few Boston television anchors and reporters among the ranks of
our Vintage Vogue Models.

When the clock strikes six, everyone will take their seats to view an excerpt from the recently completed film, Living by Zygote Digital Films. The film profiles four women, including Carol’s Corner founder, Carol Chaoui, who share their perspectives and experiences living with metastatic breast cancer. Following the film we will have an informative panel discussion with leading doctors and their patients on significant issues and key developments in MBC treatment moderated by Lisa Mullins of WBUR-FM, public radio. The Vintage Vogue Models will then take the stage for the runway show with a special twist on the mod Sixties, emceed by local celeb, Kelley Tuthill.
