The Wellesley Recreation Summer Concert Series will start on Wednesday, June 19, on the Town Hall Green, with the Wellesley Town band kicking things off as only they can.
Here’s the schedule. All concerts are Wednesday nights, 7pm, on Town Hall Green.
June 19: Wellesley Town Band. This group of home-grown talent is always looking for new members.
June 26: Deadbeat, a Grateful Dead tribute band
July 10: Classic Groove, a mix of everybody’s favorites
July 17: Tom Nutile Big Band; Basie, Sinatra, and more
July 25: Glamour Girls; these girls really know how to have fun. Wear your feathered boas and cool sunglasses.
July 31: Reminisants. Hits from the 50s to 90s.
There will be plenty of lawn games for the kids, and an all-around feel-good vibe. Don’t miss this great Wellesley summer tradition.
