A 60-year-old Wellesley man has been arrested and charged for taking inappropriate photos of a child in the shower room at Boston Sports Club in town.
Wellesley Police coordinated with detectives from the state’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation to look into the incident, which allegedly took place on July 9. A search warrant was executed at the suspect’s Washington Street home. Detectives from the Metropolitan Law Enforcement Council (MetroLEC) Computer Crime Unit and NORPAC assisted in serving the search warrant.
The suspect has been charged with one felony count of secretly recording a child under the age of 18 in the nude or partially nude. He was arraigned at Dedham District Court and bail was set at $2,500.
