Wellesley Choral Society needs new singers
The Wellesley Choral Society invites new singers to our open rehearsals on Monday, September 9, 16, and 23, 2019, 7:30pm – 9:30pm at the Small Chapel of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Wellesley Hills, 309 Washington St. This gives new singers a chance to “try us out” to see if they would like to join for the whole season or one of our concerts. Our first concert, War and Peace, will be on Sunday, November 10 at 4pm and features Haydn’s Mass in Time of War and Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem. Our second concert, Songs of Levity, is a cabaret style concert held on January 25, 2020 at 7pm. Our final concert, A Women’s Voice: A Celebration of Women Composers, will be on May 10, 2020 at 4 pm. All voice parts are welcome, but we particularly welcome new tenors and basses.
