The Wellesley School Committee will hold monthly office hours dates to provide the community with the opportunity for engagement with one or two members of the Committee.

Council on Aging at the Tolles Parsons Center, 500 Washington Street
October 2019
No School Committee office hours, but the League of Women Voters will hold a “Meet the Boards” event. More information to follow.
Thursday, November 21, 2019

Great Hall, Town Hall, 525 Washington Street
Wednesday, December 18, 2019
7pm – 8pm
Wellesley Free Library, Small Conference Room 2nd Floor, 530 Washington Street
Community members who wish to engage with the Committee but cannot attend office hours are encouraged to participate in Citizens Speak at a future meeting, or email the Committee at school_committee@
About the Wellesley School Committee
The Wellesley School Committee is made up of five elected officials, each of whom serve a 3-year term. The current School Committee members are: Melissa Martin (chair); Linda Chow (vice chair); Matt Kelley (secretary); Sharon Gray (member); and Jim Roberti (member). Some recent issues the School Committee has tackled:
- Club fees at the high school level
- Funding the elementary schools World Languages programs
- the Hunnewell, Hardy, Upham project
- a public schools security cameras policy
- who gets to attend Wellesley Schools (hint: in most cases, it’s residents only)
