Get ready to participate in National Walk (and Bike) to School Day on Wednesday October 2. It’s a healthy, safe and fun way to start the school year and the event also reduces traffic and emissions.
All seven of Wellesley’s elementary schools — Bates, Fiske, Hardy, Hunnewell, Schofield, Sprague, and Upham — are regular participants in the yearly effort, as are the middle and high schools. Over 3,000 schools across the country also get involved in the big day. You can see which schools are walking here.
Upham, Fiske and Bates, Hunnewell, are among the 3092 schools already registered across the county. Learn more and register your school here.
