The Great Wellesley Train Show on Nov. 2 returns to town for the 5th time, offering technical workshops for longtime enthusiasts plus special outreach for young people interested in model railroads.
The National Model Railroad Association Hub Division and Mass Bay Railroad Enthusiasts (which has monthly meetings in Waban and organizes trips on vintage trains all around New England), will be supporting the event.
Also on display will be an elaborate N Gauge layout 14 feet wide and 36 feet long.
Wellesley’s Richard Howell and associates from European Train Enthusiast will feature their world class ‘modules’, also in Henderson Hall.
The Magic Conductor, featuring Dawn Kelley and Dick Miller, will provide additional entertainment.
Food and beverage will be available and the vending table will open up at 10AM. The show runs from 10AM to 3PM at Wellesley Community Center 219 Washington St. Parking and admission are free. For additional information email [email protected]
