The Wellesley Historical Society, Wellesley Free Library and Gridiron Club will team up on Monday, Nov. 18, to get you primed for this year’s Thanksgiving morning football game between Wellesley and Needham High Schools. The event will take place from 6:30-8pm, and light refreshments will be served.
As the oldest one among public schools, the Wellesley and Needham football rivalry that began in 1882 is historic. The Raiders got stuffed at the end of last year’s 14-13 loss, but this year will look for home cooking in Wellesley to help get revenge.

Well I have to admit I am rooting for NEEDHAM HIGH SCHOOL. I am a graduate from there way back in 1975. GO NEEDHAM ROCKETS. beat Wellesley on turkey day . I wish I could be there but I live in north Idaho now.
Rooting for your high school? That’s legit. Just didnt want to hear that you went to Natick High and were rooting for Needham…
Have you plans to include Needham in the plans
