The public is invited to rid Wellesley of some of its littered plastic on Saturday, Oct. 5 from roughly 2-3pm, starting at the main entrance to Wellesley College on Rte. 135 near the Wang Center.
Vaani Kapoor, a Wellesley High student who has started an organization called Project Plastic that spearheads such events, says she expects the group will include Wellesley College students,?reps from town organizations such as the Natural Resources Commission and Sustainable Wellesley, plus others.
