The Wellesley Education Foundation‘s (WEF) Spelling Bee is an old-school community spelling bee that brings the whole town together for an evening of fun and fundraising. Here at The Swellesley Report, we are always too busy covering the antics of the 50+ teams that participate to actually do any spelling ourselves. This year, we’ve decided to look for some swell ringers to represent us and spell their hearts out.
We need three volunteers to form a Swellesley Report spelling team. Do it for the prestige. Do it for the fun. Do it for the t-shirts — we’re right now working on a super-swell design.

It will be the three of you against the likes of local businesses, law firms, alumni groups, community organizations, and school PTOs, as well as student teams from Wellesley High School and Wellesley Middle School. I like your chances.
Save Wednesday, November 13th for this great community event and major fundraiser for WEF, back for the 30th time.
