Casting pets (and their humans) For TV ad
Loyal Companion, a pet store opening in Wellesley next month nest to Quebrada, will be filming a commercial in Wellesley and on the North Shore next weekend, and it’s looking for dogs, cats and people to include. There are no speaking roles, though some woofing or meowing will be tolerated.
It pays $100 plus product, freebies and coupons.
If interested, submit your contact info and availability next weekend along with a photo of you and your pet(s), and any of their special talents. If you have a cat, let us know if it travels or if the crew can shoot in your home. Send everything to Jessie Howard at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Lower Falls park pitched
Details are thin here, but the developer at 14-16 Mica Lane in Lower Falls has floated (through the Selectmen’s office) a proposed improvement (plantings, seating area, etc.) to the area behind its building that is within the Town-owned piece that leads from Washington St. to the Department of Conservation and Recreation bridge that crosses the Charles River.
