Agency: The latest academic buzzword or a legit approach to achieving goals and overcoming anxiety?

Find out for yourself at an event on Thursday, Nov. 21 at Wellesley High featuring Dr. Anthony Rao and Paul Napper, authors of the book The Power of Agency. The event is sponsored by the PTSO/WHS Challenge Success teams.

Organizers stress that while the event is co-sponsored by the PTSO and is being held at the high school, this is a topic that those with younger kids and who are generally interested in education are welcome to attend. Agency, according to the organizers, is for students, teachers, parents and more, and it appears to align with the message of self-advocacy that the school system has encouraged in recent years.
