The Wellesley Scholarship Foundation (WSF) is now accepting applications for scholarships for the college year 2020-2021. In order to be eligible to apply, WSF requires that every applicant be a resident of the Town of Wellesley, or a graduating senior or graduate of Wellesley High School. WSF only considers applications from students who intend to pursue either an undergraduate degree or a post-high school technical certification program. WSF does not award graduate school scholarships.
WSF provides college scholarships to Wellesley residents attending undergraduate programs. In 2019, WSF awarded 79 awardees received need-based scholarships totaling $340,000.
In addition to need-based awards, each year two privately endowed merit scholarships are given to graduating high school seniors in recognition of outstanding achievement and citizenship.
Applications are available on the Wellesley Scholarship Foundation website.
