The Massachusetts Horticultural Society’s Sunflower Spectacular is in full bloom at Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley through Aug. 25 (ticket info).
Swellesley readers have started to share photos from their visits to the event.
The sunflower event comes on the heels of MassHort’s recent tulip showcase, both of which allow for browsing and limited pick-your-own.
Some regular Elm Bank visitors are hoping the big fences around the exhibits will be repositioned or removed for pedestrian safety, overall aesthetic, and sledding hill accessibility reasons once the flower events are done. They’ve begun reaching out to MassHort and local officials on this matter.
