Milano Barbers opens

Milano Barbersmilano barbers has opened for business at 449 Worcester St. in the former Anthony’s Barber Shop space.

Owner Wahba Shenouda, who goes by Milano, shares on his new website that he used to live in Milan, Italy and speaks Italian, but has now been in the United States for 9 years.

He previously worked at Rogue Barbers on Newbury Street in Boston.

Walk-ins are accepted, though appointments are recommended. Prices and hours are listed on the website (note that the shop is closed on Thursdays).

Longfellow Club opening in Wellesley on Sept. 1

Longfellow Wellesley Tennis & Health Club plans to open its doors at the former Boston Sports Club site (140 Great Plain Ave.).

The club features a pool, nursery, extensive pickleball and tennis opportunities, and more. Longfellow’s move into Wellesley marks an expansion beyond its sites in Natick and Wayland.
