The Wellesley Council on Aging (COA) this week hosted a special event at the Tolles Parsons Center to honor the town’s nonagenarians—residents aged between 90 and 99 years.

Attendees were treated to a birthday cake, which was shared among the guests. The cake-cutting and a staff-led rendition of Happy Birthday was a highlight of the event, marking the collective birthdays of those present.

In addition to the cake, the event featured raffles with prizes donated by local businesses.

Music from the 1950s played in the background, adding a nostalgic touch. The selection of music was intended to resonate with the guests, many of whom would have been young adults during that era.

Each guest received a goodie bag from the COA filled with small gifts and treats.
